Under one roof Sri Madhava Shishu Mandira Samithi- Uppinangadi, ABVP-Uppinangadi, JCs-Uppinangadi had organized a Seva Dina celebration on the death anniversary of Sri Ajith Kumar.

Free Eye Camp in Kumpala

A free eye camp was organized in kumpala, Mangalore on 2/12/09. 107 were given free aid and 8 underwent surgery. This was patronage by Kesari Mithra Vrundha Seva Trust.

Nele kids in Dasara Utsava

It’s for the first time Nele kids participated in Dasara Utsava which was on 20.09.09. Kids gave a performance for about 1 ½ hours which included the cultural items like dance, kolata, patriotic songs, drama etc. It was a vibrant performance. Everybody appreciated the spirit.

On 27.06.09 around 60 kids of Nele visited Infosys.  The idea behind organizing this visit was to give an exposure to the kids to the modern world.  The kids were briefed with the latest technologies.  The kids were delighted to see the latest technologies and were inspired.

Celebration of Independence Day and Krishnajanmashtami

Independence Day and Krishnajanmashtami were celebrated in all centers of  Nele.  Kids were informed about the significance of the celebrations.  Kids were dressed like Krishan, Radha, and freedom fighters.  They played some games like stealing the cheese, breaking the pots etc.  The program was ended with Santhi Mantra.

Nele kids celebrated Rakshabhandhan spreading the brotherly hood.  It was not restricted to Nele alone the kids went to schools, hospitals, police stations, post office and every neighborhood and they tied around 8000 rakshabandhan.  Isn’t it an achievement ?!
