Female Volunteers who can commit themselves for three years or more and interested in Seva have an opportunity to be a Sevavrathi. The project commences from 20^th May lasts upto 30^th May. Seva Shikshana Shibira (Service Training Camp)

Seva (service) should become a movement. The bottom most person in the society should also be motivated to serve the society. For this, an awareness of service mentality should be created among the general public.

With this point in view a 15-day state level residential camp is conducted for the service-minded. Persons willing to spare some time out of their daily routine – house wives, teachers, hostel wardens, coordinators of various local organizations attend this training camp. This is a condensed form of 40-days Sevavrati Training.

Sevavrati Shikshana Shibir

The instruments of social change are the Sevavratis – young men and women volunteers. They are missionaries – who dedicate three years of their prime youth after their education. A few of them offer their entire life to the noble cause of serving the society. For them SEVA is live’s mission, never ever a profession.

Objective:
“The national ideals of Bharat are Sacrifice and Service. Intensify her(Bharath) in these channels and the rest will take care of itself”

While it is possible to find motivated people to work for the cause the society, it is necessary to channelize their efforts for sustained development. There is also an urgent need to train these people in a variety of skills and impart specific knowledge in their sphere of activities and to develop their overall personality.

Mahila Sevavrati Shikshana Shibira (Women Sevavrati Training Camp)

The HSP after a screening process gives Sevavratis 40 days of intensive training in fully residential camps. The training programme is so designed as to enable the Sevavratis assimilate the ideals of community living, patriotism, perseverance, courage, fortitude and humility and also specific skills such as collection of data, report writing, public speaking and public relations. The trainees also learn yoga, meditation, karate and spoken vibrant samskruta(the ancient Indian language/vedic language).

Purusha Sevavrati Shikshana Shibira (Men Sevavrati Training Camp)

The selected Sevavratis initially are given training for 20days and deployed to work in projects for 6months and they undertake a further training of 20days for rededication. Basically this is similar to the training given to the Mahila Sevavratis.
