On 27.06.09 around 60 kids of Nele visited Infosys.  The idea behind organizing this visit was to give an exposure to the kids to the modern world.  The kids were briefed with the latest technologies.  The kids were delighted to see the latest technologies and were inspired.

This is how Namitha, 10^th std, Premanjali Nele describes her visit to Infosys.

“We had children coming from all the centers of Nele.  It was pleasure meeting them.  Initially we had no knowledge about the company.  After visiting Infosys we got lot of information about the company and the latest technologies.

Infosys started with a group of 7 people and today it has around 30,800 employees.  It was started in a garage and now it has so many building and each one is named.  The building blocks of the company are hard work and determination.  We were told how hard it was for them initially but the hard work and determination did the wonders.  We were told even if we also work hard towards a thing with determination and try to broaden our thoughts, and explore the world we too can succeed.  Infosys is not just a software company it also involves itself in many social activities.  They carryout may programs with respect to the same.

We were briefed about the projects and we were also asked to do some projects.  My team got the 3^rd prize.  This was first time in my life I did a project.  Then in the evening we had a tour of all the buildings of Infosys.  They were simply beautiful.  It was pleasure seeing those big buildings. 

We thank Infosys for giving us this opportunity to visit and a chance to explore things.”
