This project is aimed at creating an awareness of environmental issues among the rural people. Vriksha Laksha Andolan, a movement to protect the trees was held, and more than one lakh saplings were planted at Sagar Tehsil in Shimoga district. A “Save the Western Ghats” movement was also organized to counter attempts of indiscriminate industrialization.

Project at Mallipatna and Mathigod in Hassan district educates farmers on environment friendly methods of farming, like vermiculture and use of bio-pesticides, and offers assistancein adopting these techniques.
