Our internship is intended for the graduate and postgraduate students of all colleges and Universities and from all streams and disciplines (Science, Arts, Commerce & Management, Business Administration, Computer Application, Law, Education, Engineering and Medical). We have the pleasure of inviting/ offering you an opportunity to determine your interests & improve your motivation, leadership skills, improve your CV…. Hindu Seva Pratishthana introduces you to new world of “SERVING THE NEEDY”, many Socio Economic issues and to derive pleasure by serving the underprivileged sections of our society.
About HSP:
Hindu Seva Pratishthana (HSP) founded in the year 1980, is an unique organization working for the wellbeing of the society by rendering selfless service through various social service projects since four decades. Our vision is to create a society which is self-reliant, socially responsible, service minded and patriotic with assimilated Indian value system within it. The mission of HSP is to uplift the under-served and deserving people without any kind of discrimination based on religion, region, gender, caste creed, race and language. Over 5500 dedicated full-time volunteers have been trained by HSP to serve the society through 20 service initiatives such as quality education for all, Rural Development through children education and women empowerment, taking care of specially abled children, free vocational training centers in Computer Education and tailoring, yoga centers, Family and child counselling centers, taking care of destitute children and rag pickers etc.
Internship program under NEP:
As you know under NEP 2020 curriculum, all Universities across the state, have mandated all Degree and Post Graduate students to undergo Internship for a specific period (one month). In this regard we would like bring to your kind notice that, HSP is offering Internship program to such students in the subjects as detailed below.
Evaluation and Grading:
Students will be evaluated as per the guidelines provided by the affiliating University (Attendance, Participation/ Involvement, Project work, submission of report, viva voice and overall performance). The subject coordinators will monitor the students for their regularity, maintaining a work dairy and participation. Students will have to give two presentations about their progress. Certificates will be issued on the successful completion of the program.
Subjects on which Internship is offered :
- Home tuitions to needy students from Socially, Educationally and Economically weaker sections of the Society.
- Personality Development programs for Primary and High School Students (6 to 15 years).
- Personality Development through Desi (Local) games.
- Education to specially abled students (Mano Nandana)
- Need and Impact assessment in the fields like Health, women and child Development – various surveys.
- Organic Farming and Gou samrakshane.
- Environmental Conservation (Bio Diversity, afforestation, water conservation, Plastic &Tissue paper usage).
- Awareness about various welfare programs/schemes announced by both State and Central govt.for the benefit of general public at large.
- Health Awareness to Rural masses about well-being of mothers, infants, Diabetes, Blood Pressure, eye checkup and B…lood Donation etc.
- Popularizing Yoga and Meditation.
- Taking care of Rag pickers and destitute children (Nele Foundation).
- Vanavasi (Tribals) Kalyan.
- Women Empowerment programs.
- Personal Counselling etc
