About the Initiative
Niramaya is a compassionate home-care initiative dedicated to enriching the lives of senior citizens while empowering rural youth with meaningful employment opportunities.
Guided by the vision “Sarve Santu Niramaya”, we provide professional, dignified, and empathetic home care services to elders who deserve comfort and support within their homes.
Program Highlights
- Duration: Two weeks of foundational training on service mindset and cultural orientation, followed by two months of hands-on training as a General Duty Assistant.
- Target: Youth from across Karnataka, with a goal to train 300 individuals annually.
- Support: Boarding and lodging facilities provided during the training period to ensure a focused learning environment.
- Placement: Dedicated assistance with job placement upon successful completion of the program.
- Niramaya aims to empower young people with the skills and values needed to serve their communities effectively, opening pathways to meaningful employment and personal growth
